Our shipping prices are based on the value of the order and therefore are competitive, in most cases the larger the order by ordering your items together will generate a better postal price.
- Example: If you were based in the USA and you ordered 1 Thong you would pay £3.45 for shipping however if you ordered 3 or 4 pairs together you would only pay £6.45 and therefore saving £7.35 in postage, this is an example only and will not deliveries based on our shipping partners rates.

- WHY ARE SOME ITEMS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH TRACKED SHIPPING?
- For some items of a high value we require a tracked service (Royal Mail) to protect all parties from loss or damage en-route.
- Orders over £100 outside the UK will require a tracked service.

- WHAT SIZES ARE YOU PRODUCTS AVAILABLE IN?
- HOW DO I CHOOSE THE BEST SIZE?
Sizing is always difficult, so we have compiled a SIZE GUIDE to assist with this. The sizes we list are in both Inches & Centimeters and are based on comfortable wear. We will at some point add a fully stretched waistband size detail, however we do NOT advice that ANY of our items are worn to full stretch. Most fabrics we use are of a tensile nature and for a long and happy life should not be worn extremely tight, this will add undue pressure to seams and the fibers within the fabric which could result in a shorter lifespan of the garment.
- WHAT IS THE MANUFACTURE AND DISPATCH LEAD TIMES?
Our Standard Processing time is 3 to 5 business days (Monday to Friday & excludes weekends and UK Bank Holidays) we do our upmost to achieve and even beat these times. Seasonal uplifts, large or complicated orders may impact on stated times, this cannot be helped, however if there is a delay to dispatch we will let you know with as much notice as possible.
- DO YOUR ITEMS HAVE A DRAWSTRING AT THE WAIST?
We do not add drawstrings to the waist bands of our garments, due to the way we elasticate our products.
- All our sprinters and football shorts come with a 3 row stitched 32mm strong waistband which should give plenty of security within the size range purchased.
- All our Track Pants, Basketball and Leisure shorts come with a 4 row stitched 50mm strong waistband which should give plenty of security within the size range purchased.
- Boxing shorts are made with a 6 row stitched 75mm strong waistband which should give plenty of security within the size range purchased.
- Bed shorts, boxer shorts and briefs come with a lighter waistband as generally worn under clothing and they need to be a little lighter.
- Waistbands can be slackened should you require, but you would need to contact us. However it is difficult to reduce the stretch, especially on smaller sizes as the waistband will not fit the garment when inserted.
- WHY DO SOME OF YOUR PRODUCTS STATE HAND WASH ONLY?
Most of our products can be machine washed and indeed dried and pressed, however some of our items will last longer, look better and benefit from a more gentle cleaning. The way our fabrics are classified for laundry can be down to the sheerness of the fabrics or indeed because some of the fabrics we use have coatings on them to give them a sheen, which can be damaged or lift if immersed or agitated, as would happen with machine washing. We advise against machine washing where possible as we want you to enjoy you purchase for years to come.

- DO YOUR SHORTS AND TRACK PANTS COME WITH AN INNER BRIEF OR LINING?
We do not add a lining or inner brief to any of our garments. The reason our garments are provided unlined, is because we have listened to our customers, over the years we have been in business, they tell us they prefer to wear only one layer of fabric and if they do wish to were underwear, they often prefer to wear something less restrictive. Taking these points on board we only produce our items in an unlined condition.
- WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER HIP POCKETS ON SPRINTER, FOOTBALL & BOXING SHORTS?
We do not offer Hip Pockets to any of these items as they make the item more bulky and are not necessary. We do however offer a range of Leisure shorts, Basketball shorts and Track pants which are full customisable and can have pockets added should you wish.
- CAN YOU CREATE A COMPLETELY CUSTOM PRODUCT TO MY DESIGN?
We do offer a bespoke service and time allowing and if it falls within our skill set we will fulfill this service, please see our SERVICES page for further details.
- CAN YOU ADD MANUFACTURERS LOGOS TO MY CUSTOM ITEM?
Absolutely not! We are happy to custom make items to your specifications within our options, however all items made by us are branded by a garment tag under the name of Dapa Designs. We are in no way affiliated with ANY other company and will NOT add logos, crests etc from any other company to your Dapa Designs Product - so please do not ask.
- WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE PICTURES OF ALL THE VARIATIONS YOU CAN OFFER?
We would love to have pictures of each and every item we can make in every fabric, every style & every variation of trim and optional extra. However this would be over a 200,000 options and this is just not feasible. We do take a picture of every new make we do, every new variation in colour and style ordered by our customers and will add these to the relevant listing as they become available.

- DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR LARGE ORDERS?
From time to time we run promotions which offer bigger discounts for larger orders, however our prices are competitive and are very reasonable for custom made items. If you are looking to place an order of £300+ then it is always worth contacting us to see what we might be able to do, this will however be based on what is ordered, how many variants and the the work involved.
- DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE AND DROP-SHIP OPTIONS?
- WHY DO YOU NO LONGER HAVE LOYALTY POINTS?
Currently we are not able to offer Loyalty Discount Points as we have moved website host and that option is not currently supported. We will however be working to get this added over the coming months or another similar Loyalty scheme.
- Why do items now appear cheaper in the listings
Due to NEW intra Community Trade Legislation which came into force on the 01/07/21 when selling to multiple countries the product shhould be listed exclusive of any VAT/Tax etc and the Relavent VAT/Tax can be added at checkout if applicable.
- Where is my Parcel?
If you are expecting your parcel but it has not yet arived there are a couple of possible reasons, that are listed below.This is why we suggest tracked postage and why you are required to add an email & contact number when you enter your details at checkout.
- It has been returned to the postage depot as nobody was home to recieve it when delivery was attempted
- It is with customs awaiting clearance (if outside the UK)
- It is with customs or your postal service awaiting VAT or Clarance duties (If outside the UK)
- It could just be delayed due to the ongoing Pandemic and the reduction in direct flights
- Why have all this NEW VAT and eccomece regulations come into force?

- Can i Visit the Studio?
The simple answer to this is YES. We are happy to receive visitors to the studio. Due to the current goverment advice, this is by appointment ONLY and you can request an appointment by clicking HERE

- Only one person is permitted per visit
- Masks are manadatory (If you are unable to wear a mask for any reason, you will not be able to visit at this time)
- Sanitizer will be avaialble in the studio and we encourage you to use regularly during your time with us.
- Items on display are for display only, but in a range of sizes and fabrics however they are NOT available to purchase on the day. We are happy for you to place an order during your visit for either collection or indeed delivery.
- Payments can be made by Credit/Debit Card or Paypal, we do not accept cheques & cannot process cash at this time.
- Visit slots are in 2 hour blocks which allow for a visit of up to 90 minutes, followed by cleaning and sanitization of the studio prior to the next visitor.
- When we email you to book your visit, we will send a copy of the safety procedures in the mail.
- Complementary drinks are available on your visit - they will be served in disposable cups with disposable stirrers, alternatively we are happy for you to bring your own cup if that feels safer.
